The Victoria Hall, a beautiful 150 year old, Grade 2 listed building was fully restored in 2001, conserving many unique heritage features from its Music Hall origins. Now managed as a professional theatre venue, staging some of the best drama, music and dance touring in the north of England. Additionally the Centre now encompasses a comfortable suite of meeting rooms, available for hire.
Convenient for local car-parks and Settle Rail Station (direct trains from Leeds and Carlisle), the Victoria Centre is the perfect venue for meetings and conferences. Meeting rooms of various sizes, together with the grandeur of the Victoria Hall, enable the Centre to accommodate everything from a simple planning meeting to a full-scale conference.
The Centre is disability-friendly including easy wheelchair access, a lift and motorised doors. Induction loops (for hearing-aid users) operate in the auditorium (Victoria Hall) and main meeting rooms.
AV presentation equipment, including digital projector, laptop computer and radio microphones are available for hire. Technical support can also be provided if required, together with office administration facilities and broadband access to the internet.
The Victoria Hall and Meeting Rooms are available individually and in any combination. The in-house catering service is on-hand to serve specaility teas, coffees, cakes and delicious buffet lunches (by arrangement.)
