In 1695, Ambrose Wigglesworth opened the doors to his first customers. Three hundred years later, we continue the tradition of offering hospitality and a warm welcome in this seventeenth century inn, situated beside the Maypole Green in the picturesque Dales village of Long Preston. The Maypole Inn has long had a strong reputation for serving fine home cooking in its warm, spacious dining room.
