There will be two work parties at Bank Newton Meadow- starting at 10.00 am
for a couple of hours.  We need to get a good amount of seed sown so please
bring a rake. These will be the last work parties before September.  Please

10: Tue 2 May: Exploring What Matters. 7.00 – 9.00 pm at Friends Meeting
House, Settle. The second session of an 8 week course.
Developed by the charity Action for Happiness
and   led by 2 local people, Tess McMahon and Guy Lyons, this
secular 8 week course is based around an exploration of important questions,
starting with “What really matters in life?” and then “What really makes us
happy?”  These are followed by sessions on dealing with adversity,  having
good relationships, caring for others, and creating happier workplaces and
communities.  They end with “How can we create a happier world?” Visit:
