The Christmas lights switch on & LIGHT FESTIVAL
On behalf of Creative Rural Enterprises and the Town Team, Lynne Wilkinson and Charlotte Foster Project Support Officer have attached a thank you letter for you with regard to the above event.

The success of the lantern workshops and the 'Switch On' was down to everyone pulling together and helping. We really appreciate all the different contributions that everyone made. 
More than 150 local people, businesses and organisations worked together to make the event happen - whether you were a funder, sponsor or a team helper on the day - THANK YOU!

Knights  On the 20th July 2003 Settle Rotary held a Petticoat Lane in Settle,  and on the 17th August 2003 the Settle / Malham challenge walk was held.

 

Settle Flag Festival 2002

Flag Festival in Settle Previous Flag Festivals in Settle were a great success, giving colour and an air of summer to the town. In 2002 the Festival started when the flags went up on the 26th May. From the 31st there was a pavilion in the market square, and the Knights of Longshanks conducted battle renactments on the 1st and 2nd of June. The festival continued through the Jubilee on the 3rd & 4th with more events in the town.
The flags came down on the 23rd of June

 


Settle in the Snow

Remember, Remember 2001...

Despite the ravages of Foot & Mouth in 2001, Settle rallied round to continue with many events, culminating in the best Christmas event for many years - "Settle in the Snow".
