The Folly is a Grade 1 Listed building in the middle of Settle, in the very heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The entire ground floor of the north wing has been painstakingly restored and is now available as a luxury holiday apartment.

The Folly at Settle has a Visit Britain Five Star Grading. 'The Folly at Settle is one of England's Best Houses' - Sir Simon Jenkins.

We have one price all year round (except for Christmas and New Year) of &pound;500 per week or &pound;90 per night for a short break, minimum three nights. Layhead Farm Holiday Cottages comprise an 18th century farmhouse together with its stone barns which have been carefully converted into a variety of comfortable holiday accommodation to a very high standard.
You will find everything you need at Layhead Farm Holiday Cottages for a carefree holiday. All linen and towels are provided and cots and high chairs are available. Some fuel is provided for the open fires. There is ample parking on a private car park, adjoining the holiday cottages.

Tucked away down a private and secluded lane on a pennine sheep farm, Layhead Farm holiday cottages lie close to the village of Rathmell. Here stone cottages and walled fields stretch up to rugged moors and fells, and down through the lush meadows of the Ribble Valley. This is a particularly quiet, placid place, yet only three miles from the market town of Settle with its shops, restaurants and pubs.
