However you want to enjoy the countryside around Settle you’ll find you can do it right here, and if you’re looking for adventure the list of things to do is endless…
Get into a canoe, a balloon, a river, a ountry pub, up a cliff, down a cave, across a fell or onto a bike. Fit in a round of golf or a swim, get out for a run or a walk, onto a horse, up a peak or whatever else you’re into!
If you prefer you can browse a wide range of specialist shops in the town centre, explore the local market, visit an art gallery, try some amazing ale in a friendly pub or relax in a cafe style wine bar and enjoy a scrumptious lunch or dinner at one of our tempting cafes and restaurants.

We are thinking of moving to Settle, could you tell me what business is like in the winter,do walkers still visit in the winter ?
Many Thanks
Chris Rawle
People still do visit in the Winter, but Settle is also a Market Town serving many outlying villages, so there is always trade from local residents as well as visitors.
Settle Tourist Information should be able to give you better statistics about visitor numbers. –

If you are setting up business, a lot depends on what it is as well, as to how “seasonal” the trade is.
I hope this helps
