Meeting Dates for November and December

Meeting Dates

The lunchtime meetings are free and very informal and alternate between Mondays and Wednesdays. We usually have between 20 and 30 people attending and meet between 11.30am and 1pm in business premises in the Settle area but sometimes go further afield. The format is very simple, everyone has a couple of minutes to talk about their business and any special offers or projects they are working on, then the host gets about 30 minutes to show us around their premises and talk in more depth about what they do. There is also lots of time for cups of tea and networking.

Sole to Soul

Our next lunchtime networking meeting will be at Sole to Soul Holistic Chiropody, Podiatry and Therapy Centre on Grasmere Drive in Bentham on Monday 12th November at 11.30am. Postcode is LA2 7JP. Free parking is available in the car park at the end of Grasmere Drive. Please let me know if you plan to come and if you would be happy to offer a lift or want one.

Our December meeting will be at The Lion in Settle on Wednesday 5th December at the usual time of 11.30am. We will be in the left hand bar The Lion’s Den.

Evening Meeting in November

The Settle Chamber of Trade and Federation of Small Businesses are having a joint meeting on Tuesday 20th November at Settle Cricket Club starting at 6.30pm. This is an open meeting and any local businesses are welcome – you do not have to be a member of the Chamber or the FSB to attend. Not quite sure of the format yet but will let you know nearer the time.
