Giggleswick Horticultural Show

This Annual Open Show will be held on Saturday 10th August 2013 at  Giggleswick Junior School Pavillion and will be opened by Joe Lord, Mayor of Settle.
The show features 148 different classes and entries are invited for Vegetables, Fruit, Flowers, Decorative flowers, Photographic, Culinary, Preserves, Handicrafts, Art.  We also feature a variety of Children’s classes, ages 7 and under, 11 and under and 16 and under.
Programmes are available from Speight and Watsons, Lamberts newsagents, the Tourist Information Office and the Garden Shed or by contacting Mrs Ruth Dugdale on 01729 822877.  If you would prefer the information electronically please send your details to GHShow@outlook.com
Entries cost 20p per class and can be made by post or to the Parish Rooms, Giggleswick on the 7th and 8th of August, 700 to 8.30 pm.
The show is always a wonderful event and the proceeds from the show are donated to local charities, in 2012 these totalled £800.   Even if you don’t wish to enter, please join us on the day and maybe enjoy one of our home made teas in the Hobson Room at the school. We are sure you will return and make this an annual event!
