Craven and the Yorkshire Dales boasts many outstanding food and drink producers. Several of these are small, artisan producers who take pride in the quality and sustainability of their produce.
North Yorkshire Council collaborates with partners across the region to provide opportunities for these businesses to grow and thrive while nurturing each other and is staging this event to bring together Craven’s independent food makers to learn about sector-specific business support, supply chain insights and how to gain market share.

The event is hosted at Town End Farm Shop, winner of the award for Family Business of the Year at the 2023 Craven Business Awards and owned by award-winning charcuterie maker, Chris Wildman.
Alongside Chris, other inspirational speakers include Alison Kane of Deliciously Yorkshire, an organisation which works to promote Yorkshire food, Ulrike Ehrgartner of the Fix Our Food initiative at the University of York and Katheryn Gregory of The Supply Chain Network that provides direct support to food businesses.
This event will provide a forum for attendees to share their ideas as to what support they would like to see both for their business and the food sector as a whole.
