Come and meet around 50 of your local businesses and community organisations and find out how they are giving Settle a sparkling reputation across the North of England. They deliver a range of local products and services to other businesses and to the people who live in Settle and the surrounding villages.

They represent many sectors – the Outdoor World and Natural Environment; IT and Business Support; Health and Healing; Books and Publishing; Life Skills, Education and Community Projects; Fitness and Exercise and local retailers. There will be 40 stalls with a range of displays, demonstrations and special offers. There will also be a Treasure Trail around Settle with the chance to win prize vouchers.

Find out how Settle and its surrounding villages can provide you with products and services that you may currently go further afield for. You may discover that you’re currently wasting petrol as well as missing out on the special, tailored approach that local businesses can give you.

Joe Lord, Mayor of Settle, will be in attendance to kick off the day. There will be entertainment, and a free prize draw which every person who comes through the doors will be entered for! There will also be a charity raffle, with the proceeds going to the Cave Rescue Association.

You can also pick from a programme of free workshops including Basic First Aid, Food Foraging, Advice for Parents on Internet Safety, Tai Chi, Writing Tips, Community Art and Crafts and many more.

This event has been organised by the Settle Networking Group, a mutually supportive group of around 80 local businesses which meets monthly. We are affiliated to the Settle Chamber of Trade who have helped enormously with supporting our group. We would also like to thank Victoria Hall, Booths, Lafarge Aggregates and many others for sponsoring or supporting this event.
