Lay of the Land

Lay of the Land is a family run “pocket” garden centre, and is probably one of Settle’s best kept secrets! Recognising a gap existed in the market for a wider range of garden plants than previously available in the town on a permanent basis we opened our doors on Good Friday 2012. Sited on the town centre edge of Sowarth Industrial Estate we have been credited with turning the rather tired site of a former joiner’s shop and yard into a green and pleasant oasis, crammed with interesting plants.
