Over the past year we have continued to work with the Local Town Council and North Yorkshire Council as well as the Settle.Org.uk website.

All the work of the Chamber is undertaken by a handful of members of your steering group. Those members are all principals of their own businesses and give up their time to work on behalf of the Chamber of Trade. It’s the same story as in many previous years that we urgently need more committee members, or at least dialogue from our current membership. We are always looking to increase the overall member numbers, as these too are dwindling.

At the meeting the members will be given the opportunity to vote in the committee, with the post of Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

More than ever small businesses are struggling and a voice to government / council policy’s and help with promoting growth is where we can offer some help / guidance

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 22nd October. We have an area in the Lion’s Den for this meeting and the bar will be open.

We hope to keep the meeting to a minimum of hour, after which we can continue with networking should the participants wish to

What to Do on a Rainy Day Out Around Settle?
