We plan on having some local live music, local food, crafts and activities
We are looking for people to get involved, and showcase what they do; it could prove to be a great opportunity for you to promote your business/activity. We will have spaces in some of the workrooms for demonstrations, and talks, and there will be outside spaces for stalls to set up.
There will be no cost to you to have a stall, and you can sell your goods, and promote your services/business. We also have an opportunity for you to do short demonstrations, seminars, talks etc in our schedule of events.
Display / demonstration spaces are available for the whole weekend, or just one day, and we may have some bed and breakfast accommodation available. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in getting involved. Current associated partners of Malham Tarn have preference on space, if booked in by Mid April.
At the Walking Festival
The Yorkshire Dales Walking Festival is quite a large event with several thousand taking part, and growing. http://www.forallevents.co.uk/walk-for-all/events/yorkshire-dales Via local Community Group Settle Festival, we are organising a community festival at the start and finish line at the Rugby Club in Settle; running all day, with craft and food stalls, activity providers, family games, and information about the region. This event will be advertised widely, nationally, alongside the Walk for All, and should be well attended. It is free entry to the public on the day, and there is the opportunity for people/groups to promote their business, run activities, sell products, and raise money.
Stall, demonstration and display space is available, as well as space to run activities. There will be a small pitch fee to cover some of the costs, starting at £20 for a table/small stall/gazebo space.
Display Space
We are also currently offering wall and installation space around the Field Centre and grounds for anyone wanting to promote and sell their work.
Other Events
We are planning to be present at several shows, outdoor events and suchlike this year, to help promote the Centre; there may well be partnership opportunities to work with us for mutual benefit at such events.
