NEWS FROM GROWING WITH GRACE

ORGANIC GARDENING NETWORK TO LAUNCH

Local community-owned organic social enterprise, Growing with Grace, is leading plans to create a local network of clubs and people interested in organic gardening and sustainable living.

With increased interest in what is in our food and exactly where it comes from, more and more people have been looking for information and advice.  And with over 12 years involvement in the organic movement, Growing with Grace is ideally placed to support such an initiative.

The plan is to create a local network to share experiences and ideas, as well as opportunities to meet and hear guest speakers.  An initial meeting is planned for Saturday 27 April starting at 10.00am at Growing with Grace’s site at Clapham.  Already a number of people have come forward showing interest and Growing with Grace is keen to hear from other clubs and people too.  In order to help with organisation, anyone wanting to attend is asked to contact Belinda Roos in advance of the meeting by emailing belinda.roos@growingwithgrace.org.uk.

Clapham based Growing with Grace is well known for its carrot signs on the A65, and is a cooperative and social enterprise dedicated to supplying sustainably grown produce to local people and businesses, as well as offering activities such as workshops.
