History: Started tennis aged 8 at Austwick Tennis Club with Coach Pam Whitehead and has since progressed through Austwick C Team and is now playing regularly for A Team in the Wharfdale League.

Currently: Tom now competes regularly on weekends and has had great success this last year at LTA events in the north of the UK. Currently Tom has group lessons at Ilkley and one to one coaching session from their performance coach.

Future: Tom would like to take his tennis more seriously and compete at county and maybe nationally in the future. He has a long road ahead but is determined to succeed and therefore needs to have more coaching on a regular basis and to compete in more national competitions to improve his LTA ranking.

Sponsorship: We are looking for local businesses who would like to sponsor a ‘Local Lad’ who has already achieved a lot from humble beginnings.  New sponsorship would enable Tom to continue having the crucial one to one coaching and enter more competitions helping him take his tennis to the next level.

Have you got Tom’s back?

A basic sponsorship package of £300 puts your company logo on his T Shirt which will provide press coverage in the Craven Herald as one of Tom’s sponsors and a free Wimbledon ticket if he qualifies in the future !
