P.S. I had a great walk on Boxing Day  Ripon to Fountains Abbey: Read my report.  4 miles there and 4 miles back
I enjoy turning my visits and walks into field trips

PPS: I also enjoy showing people lichens. If you live in Settle or elsewhere in Grid Ref SD86 and would like to learn about the lichens in your garden in 2026 I would be happy to show you them. (First five offers anyway.)

Whether it is in going for walks, learning about some new or old wildlife/plants or looking at the birds from your window, may you have a Happy 2026

Happy New Year

Judith
