Students in Year 9 at Settle College have studied media and non fiction texts as part of their English lessons this year. They looked at how media texts are constructed in order to influence the reader and how language and presentation can be used to promote a tourist destination. Students then worked together to make a media-based text to promote Settle as a tourist destination, here are some of their efforts.
