the national park.  Based in the Settle area, this will, initially, be
a continuation of the former Middle School John Muir Award group, but
with a wider range of activities.

Young Rangers will run  on the second Saturday of each month, plus
other occasional days for some activities,  and will offer support in
achieving the Discovery and Explorer levels of the John Muir Award.

Days out will include training from experts in outdoor survival
skills,  tree planting, mending footpaths,  wild life surveys (might
see some wildlife too!), and lots more.

Young Rangers will be run by experienced, qualified
staff and volunteers from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority
