‘Songs of love and war’ – recital given by Simon Watkins (baritone) and
Charlie Dobson (piano),  including songs by Dvorak, Vaughan Williams and
Bantock, as well as settings  of WW1 poems by Ireland and Sousa.

The Ribble Life Project – Illustrated presentation by Ellie Brown, GIS Data &
Evidence Officer with the Ribble  Rivers Trust, updating the project’s
progress since the last visit by a speaker from the Ribble Rivers Trust in March 2016.

Ellie can give great insight in to how the Trust uses data and evidence to
identify, prioritise and plan their work. 

At St John’s Methodist Church, Church Street, Settle. 
Entrance £3 for non-members and £1 for members. All welcome.

20. 25 Dec. Settle Community Christmas Day Meal
The volunteers join in and we have lots of fun. It is £10, (but we
have a bursary fund for those especially hard up). It is held at St John’s
Church, Settle 11.45am to 5pm. Come by yourself or in a small group.
Transport available.  Can you help us make that magic total of 50
participants again?  Please tell neighbours who may not have
