1. Fri 6 Feb:  Swimming: Triathlon/Open Water Session 12:30 – 13:30

Settle Pool.£5-00 per session

Session  starts  at  12.30  in the water so please arrive in plenty of
time to change etc.
The  session  is now open to those who can swim but find front crawl a
struggle and would like to improve it!
Don’t forget your fins and paddles (if you have any).

2. Sunday 8 Feb   Gospel Choir

Enjoy listening to a 30 strong Gospel Choir singing at St John’s Methodist
Church on Sunday morning. All welcome.  10.30am, 8th Feb. Please come!
the  Huddersfield  Community  Gospel  Choir will be  a lively occasion
with  the  30 strong choir singing  some  familiar  gospel  songs in a
traditional  ‘gospel  choir’  style.   If   you are not going anywhere
else… come along and share in the experience.

We   have  three  new  members at Craven Speakers Club this year and 4
potential  new  members.    Make sure you give us a try and see if you
would like to join whilst we  still have space for new members.

and exploring what happens at a Speakers Club.

Friends Meeting House Settle 7.30pm: Rev Timothy  Fox of Bentham will
talk/lead   discussion  on  climate  change,  Operation  Noah;  Judith
Allinson  will talk/lead discussion on the new Green Christian “Saving
Wildlife”  leaflets  –  at a time when Extinction rates are 1000 times
the natural rate. We will also plan some future events.

what is in the new book.

Meet  at  Cow  Bridge,  on  the  River Ribble between Long Preston and
Wigglesworth.  Join Adrian Shepherd and Dave Tayler for a joint outing
and  visit  to  the  new hide.  Bring outdoor clothes suitable for the
day, wellies and a packed lunch. The length of the walk will depend on
the weather.
