Bill Mitchell Funeral details and other news

A) In memory of Bill Mitchell
B) One World Week Meal on 22 Oct
C) Talk  by Pat Saunders tonight (14th) on Bangladesh
D) Just 10 days events this time – I’ll send a longer list shortly
……………………..

A) Bill  Mitchell  (W.R. Witchell)  died on 7 Oct. His funeral will be on
Mon  19  Oct  at  11  am at Skipton Parish Church A big church will be
needed!! He grew up in Skipton.
We  will  be   having   a   memorial  service  for  him  at St John’s
Methodist Church in Settle at a time yet to be fixed.

Nearly  all of you receiving this will either know him, and have tales
to tell about him, or have heard of him,  or read some of his books…
There are lots of good writings about him elsewhere, so I needn’t say
much

We will miss him at St John’s Methodist Church.
Craven  Conservation  Group  are pleased he was a member and will miss
him, and enjoyed hearing tales of his deer studies.

I  am  pleased, that he was able to go to the Malham Chapel 150 year
celebrations just last month
http://rainforest-save.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/malham-chapel-150-years-old.html
and recount tales of when he went there to preach so many years ago.

Here are pictures of him at Settle Stories in 2012
http://rainforest-save.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/tea-and-tales-with-bill-mitchell-and.html

He  used  to  receive  these events email, and sent some appreciative replies..
May be it is that care to detail that made him dear to so many.
