to be transformed into a
bustling Continental Market

On Friday 1stJune and Saturday 2ndJune
as part of the town’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations,
Settle’s historic market place is to be transformed into a bustling ‘Continental Market’
Market traders from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland, Poland and many other countries will be dressed in their traditional costumes and selling authentic foods and handmade crafts from their various regions. Most of the products are produced using traditional methods by small organisations such as family businesses, farms and small factories ensuring that a high standard of quality is guaranteed.

Products on offer will include Dutch Toffee Waffles, French & Swiss Cheeses, Spanish Paella and Chorizo, Italian Nougat, Brittany Biscuits, German BBQ, Corsican Dried Meats, French Crepes, Marseille Soap & Lavender, Alpine Tartiflette, Aromatic Garlic, Olives, Charcuterie, Sweets, Dried Fruit & Nuts, Clothes, Hand Bags, Leather Goods, Toys, Pashminas and much more!
