in the  Eastern Cape region of South Africa 10.30am

You are invited to Settle Primary School
illustrated presentation given by teaching assistant, Sarah
Entwistle.  This summer Sarah, technician Richard Freytag & school
governor,  Gillian Gape, spent two weeks in South Africa finding out
about the school’s educational  & cultural link with Kwezana Primary
School in the Eastern Cape region.

there are people who are in poverty
The Settle Branch of the St Vincent de Pauls society say:
“We are collecting Toys ‘n Tins’ n Things
We are seeking pre-owned or new Toys and Tins of Food (unopened!) and
any other item capable of being redistributed in Christmas Hampers by
the St Vincent de Paul Society in the North of England.  All items
will be distributed to the most needy in our mist, regardless of their
religious beliefs, if any.

Items can be left in the Settle Catholic Church Meeting Room or at the
rear of the St Mary and St Michael RC Church Hall, Settle, BD24 9RA.
