What a treat and coup for Settle’s Victoria Hall to host a visit from flamenco maestros Juan Martin and El Chaparro de Malaga
this Thursday, May 14.
This concert would have droves in Spain coming from miles to hear these two stars.
It.is a dream duo for guitar lovers – Martin has long been acknowledged as an outstanding ambassador for flamenco.
He was once voted among the world’s top three guitarists and played at Picasso’s 90th birthday party.
El Chaparro is also revered and has played with a host of top artistes in Andalucia – what a partner!
To hear authentic flamenco such as this duo can produce is to be taken on a journey – it really can be a magical, moving experience.
