Time of Long Preston Walk
Swimming
Studio Flats at Townhead Court
Rainforest Fund Coffee Morning
(And then 27 events)

Please note:  the Long Preston Deeps Bird walk on this Saturday is at
10am.(Not 11.30 as I said in the last email.)

I continue to be enthusiastic about:
Swimming on Fridays (12.30) with Debbie, and Tuesdays (8pm) with Andy.
They  are  both very different sessions and both good fun and get us to
swim   more   efficiently.  At  this Tuesday session we learned how to
swim   round   corners,  practiced  efficient starts from the rail and
improved our stroke length. And had lots of fun.

Ursula  Deith  tells me there are 2 studio flats available at Townhead
Court,  Settle  (Anchor  Trust).   To  be  eligible  you  have  to  be
over   55   and   able   to   live  independently.   Studio   flat   =
lounge-bedroom,  with own bathroom and kitchen.  £470   per   calendar
month.  (or  £47  per  week  if  on  Housing benefit).  If  you   are
interested  or  know  anyone who might be interested contact Ursula on
01729 823450

Remember   to   come to the Coffee Morning at St John’s Church, Settle
in  aid  of the   Rainforest  Fund on Tuesday morning 3 March.  Of  if
you  can’t come..  ask   to   buy   one of my beautiful photo cards in
aid  of the rainforest  when  you see me.. If we make £100 it will buy
an acre of rainforest.
