Settle  Pool.  8-9pm  £5.50  – for people wanting to do triathlons, or
simply  to improve their front crawl.
I  went last week and it was good fun. Some   people   are  very  good
swimmers  and  some (like me) are more leisurely..

4. Wed 18 Feb: First of 6 Wednesday Bentham Lent Lunches:

Organised by Churches together in Bentham at
High Bentham Methodist  Church,  (on  Station  Road,  near the railway
station) with talks/discussions  on  the theme of Climate  Change.
The  theme  this  week  is “Celebrating Creation” and
within   that   session   I  have  a  five  minutes  slot  on  Flowers
and wildlife of the Bentham Area.

5. Wed 18 -Sat 21 Feb: Save the Children annual Nearly New Sale, Ripon

–  Hugh  Ripley Hall, Skellbank, Ripon HG4 2PT. There  must  be  a lot
of goods on offer for this to last four days .. and there are!!!

It  is  open  Wednesday  from 10.30am-3.30pm (with an hour session for
disabled  people  only  from  3.30-4.30pm), Thursday from 10.30am-7pm,
Friday from 10.30am-4pm, and Saturday from 10am-noon.

Goods  for  donation  can  be  dropped off on Monday and Tuesday, from
10am-4pm.
(I advertise this -because there ARE lots of bargains)

These  Social  Media workshops are all at the Royal Oak in Settle with
Heather  Robinson from Skittish.  Cost is £25 each session  – there is
a  discount  for  booking both workshops on the same day  (info on the
booking  page) – additional discounts available for paid up members of
North  Craven  Networking  Group,    local  charities,  festivals  and
community groups.
These  really  are  an  absolute  bargain  –  Heather is running these
workshops at £60 a session in Keighley.

North  Craven  Networking  is  a  collection  of  local business folk,
community  groups and charities.  The group started in October 2011 in
Settle  but  has expanded and now covers Bentham, Ingleton, Malham and
also Skipton businesses.
