Mindfulness teacher Sita Brand, the Director of Settle Stories, has teamed up with Age UK North Craven to offer ‘An Introduction to Mindfulness’.
The course is open to anyone over 55 and runs on Thursday afternoons for four weeks. It starts on Thursday, September 15 (2.30pm to 4pm) at the Friends Meeting House in Settle.
The full list of dates is September 15, 22 and 29 and October 6 – and the cost of the course is £30.

He said: “We are very fortunate to have Sita available to offer this instruction, especially as she is a qualified, experienced teacher in the subject.
“It’s a genuine rare opportunity to get an insight into mindfulness, which has been shown to be beneficial not only coping with elements of stress and pain but also enhancing very effectively one’s enjoyment of life.”
