Settle Music Ltd is starting to collaborate with Poppies Tea Rooms to put on a series of concerts. Under a previous owner the Tea Rooms hosted the very popular Cafe Scientific and as a venue it lends itself to small, intimate gatherings. We’re starting with two acoustic concerts in the run up to Christmas to gauge interest and, should they prove sucessful, we have a number of other performers on our list for regular concerts in the New Year. The details of the first two concerts are below:
Thursday November 10th, 7.30pm
Grammy Award Nominated Guitarist Neil C. Young, presenting an evening of Brazilian inspired music.
Saturday December 10th, 7.30pm
The Moonbeams – “Songs from the Dales with the heart and soul of folk”
Both will be held at Poppies Tea Room, Kirk Gate, Settle and admission will be £7 (including some refreshments).
