New Stroke Club

A NEW club for stroke survivors starts in Settle with its first get-together on Tuesday, September 26.

The club will meet on the last Tuesday of each month in the lounge at Limestone View (next door to Settle Library) from 2pm to 4pm.

The cost is £2 per meeting and this includes tea/coffee and cakes.

The club is open to anyone who has survived a stroke, albeit recently or some years ago.

Every stroke is different and all are welcome regardless of the level and type of impairment.

The aim of the club is to provide an opportunity to meet and talk with other stroke survivors and for them to take part in a range of recreational and social activities including games, outings, exercise, music and talks.
