SAOS Junior Theatre Group 2016
WHEN TOAD CAME HOME

After a lot of fun and great success with ‘Bugsy Malone’ and ‘The Wizard of Oz’, the Junior Theatre Group are set to start work on another production, ‘When Toad Came Home’. Based loosely on the wonderful story ‘The Wind in the Willows’ this little spin off tells the tale of Toad having his computer stolen by those nasty Weasels, who threaten to bring in the Tax Inspector. Help is at hand, however, from Toad’s trusted friends, Rat, Mole and Badger and the Field Mice.
There are lots of songs and the chance to dance, as well as dressing up as the creatures from the Wild Wood.

This is an opportunity for children to learn about theatre, to practice new skills and to have lots of fun putting together a show to delight parents, grandparents, friends and neighbours. Our previous shows have brought out a wealth of amazing talent in our young people and we’re more than excited at what 2016 might produce.
The first get-together will be at The Court House on Monday 11th January at 6.30pm till 8pm and rehearsals will be every Monday and Wednesday at the same time. The show will be staged at the Victoria Hall on Friday 18th March, Saturday 19th March at 7.30pm and Sunday 20th March at 2pm. We welcome children between the ages of 7 to 17.
