All our lunchtime networking meetings are free and very informal so no need to be scared! The days alternate between Mondays and Wednesdays and we usually meet between 11.30am and 1pm in business premises in the Settle area but sometimes go further afield. The format is very simple, everyone has a couple of minutes to talk about their business and any special offers or projects they are working on, then the host gets about 30 minutes to show us around their premises and talk in more depth about what they do. There is also lots of time for cups of tea and networking.
Our next meeting is on Monday 10th September at Paganum Produce at Church End Farm in Kirkby Malham where Chris Wildman will show us around his new butchery – there will be charcuterie tastings for the meat eaters including his legendary Yorkshire chorizo!
Usual start time of 11.30am and we should be finished by about 1pm. The postcode is BD23 4DP but sat nav may not direct you right to the farm! Coming out of Kirkby Malham towards Settle take the first turning on the right which is signposted Micklaw Hill. Church End Farm is down here. Obviously coming from Settle it is the last on the left as you drop down towards the village but if you end up in the village just turn round! On Wednesday 10th October we are meeting at The Brasserie in The Courtyard on the A65 just outside Settle. As they are busiest at lunchtime we will have an earlier start of 9.30am so will be out of their way before the lunchtime rush.
Monday November 12th we will be heading over to visit Sole to Soul Holistic Therapy Centre in Bentham. Usual time of 11.30am.
We have a box of business cards so bring some of yours along to meetings. If you can’t make the meetings pop some through the door at Gateway to Health in Settle and I’ll pick them up.
