* Barn dance this Friday evening (in aid of a children’s project
in Tanzania) – organised by  Churches Together in Settle.

* Two computing training sessions in Settle this Thursday:
a.m.:  Facebook for Business
p.m.:  Blogging with WordPress
£25 per session is a bargain price (usually they are £60)
Pls tell your friends: there are still a few spaces.

*  Swimming   classes   continue:  Great fun. Andy Mouncy’s on Tuesday
evenings,  Debbie’s Friday Lunchtimes. So long as I keep going,
you are unlikely to be the slowest.
Anyway, the  aim  is  to  become much more efficient, and save
energy.

Organised  by  Churches  together in Bentham at High Bentham Methodist
Church, with talks/discussions  on  the theme of Climate  Change.
12.30pm  –  bread  and  cheese  are provided by the churches  in turn.

Each workshop is £25

Jo of North Craven Networking writes:

These  Social  Media workshops are all at the Royal Oak in Settle with
Heather  Robinson from Skittish.  Cost is £25 each session  – there is
a  discount  for  booking both workshops on the same day  (info on the
booking  page) – additional discounts available for paid up members of
North  Craven  Networking  Group,    local  charities,  festivals  and
community groups.
These  really  are  an  absolute  bargain  –  Heather is running these
workshops at £60 a session in Keighley.

Morning  workshops 9.30-12.30 and afternoon ones 2-5 – advance booking
is essential – hot drinks and handouts are provided.

North  Craven  Networking  is  a  collection  of  local business folk,
community  groups and charities.  The group started in October 2011 in
Settle  but  has expanded and now covers Bentham, Ingleton, Malham and
also Skipton businesses.

Anyone can come to these workshops, but you have to book.

These  classes  are  going to continue. Do give it a try. They are fun
and  we  learn  lots. We learn to swim more efficiently. And learn new
things each week.

Settle  Pool.  8-9pm  £5.50  – for people wanting to do triathlons, or
simply  to improve their front crawl.
Some   people   are  very  good swimmers  and  some (like me) are more
leisurely..
