‘Looking at the Way of Tai Chi’ is the title of a talk organised by Age UK North Craven at Limestone View in Settle this Thursday, May 7.

Qualified Tai Chi teacher Tony Bennett presents the afternoon and will investigate how to relieve anxiety, improve movement and breathing and increase wellbeing.

Looking ahead, there’s ‘Our VE Summer’ afternoon dance at Victoria Hall in Settle on Wednesday, June 10 (from 2pm).
It features music from the Black Horse Jazzmen, with dancing led by Liz Culshaw, with a strawberry tea/cake as refreshments.
Later in the month, award-winning baker Mike Armstrong returns to present one of his Champion Baking demonstrations at the lounge in Anchor’s Townhead Court on Tuesday, June 23. Tickets for both events will be available soon, but contact Richard to book an interest.
