Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to inform you that following on from the success of  our event in 2011, that the Jane Tomlinson’s Appeal ‘Walk For All’ Yorkshire Dales Walking Festival is coming back in 2012 to Settle. The event attracted over 2,000 people to the area last year, and this year we hope to grow the event, bringing more tourism and trade to the town.

I am writing to you early, as we felt last year proved that it is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage the local business community, whether its opening up for longer hours, or even looking to do something on the Market Place. We are looking to entice participants, and their families to stay in the area for longer, not only does it create a great buzz around the event, but it creates more business for your selves.

As with last year’s event, we are keen to engage with the local community in order to understand fully, the requirements of locals and businesses in the area whilst delivering an event with maximum benefit and minimum disruption. If you do have any feedback or suggestions that you feel could improve the event or reduce potential inconveniences, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Kind Regards

    Sick of the City Scramble?

Your 60-Minute Reset is Waiting in Settle. If you live in or near Leeds, Manchester, or Lancaster, you know the “Saturday Scramble.” It’s the alarm you didn’t want to set. It’s the hunt for a parking space in a concrete multi-storey. It’s the fluorescent hum of a shopping mall, the lukewarm chain coffee, and the […]
