Walking Cricket

Howzat! Walking Cricket is coming to the Settle area.

A free taster afternoon for over-55s is set to take place at Settle Cricket Club, Marshfield Road (opposite Booths) on Tuesday, July 17 (1.30-3.30pm).

Walking cricket is low impact and ideal for those who wish to play a sport, but no longer can, or want to, spend a whole afternoon running around.

The taster is part of a North Yorkshire Sport project to get older people more active. A qualified coach will be on hand to organise the session, which is supported by North Yorkshire Sport, Settle CC and Age UK North Craven.
